Is the gratuity included in the final bill ?

Tips are not included and are always appreciated. If you believe the staff at your party gave good service, please feel free to give them a gratuity at the end of the night. This can be added to your final payment and we will distribute the tip accordingly.

How are staff hours calculated ?

For the full service dinners the staff hours are included in the proposal.

Staff hours are added for barbeques, celebration of life functions and cocktail parties. The cost is $20.00 per hour for a minimum of three hours per staff.

What is the sales tax rate ?

The tax rate is 5% GST and is calculated on food, equipment, labour and service charges.

What are service charges ?

A surcharge may be calculated on food and beverage sales to cover cost of extra staff working behind the scenes. The cooks that prepare the food in the kitchen or staff that clean the equipment, vehicle fuel, delivery, equipment rentals and insurance costs. Sometimes these costs are separated and other times the surcharge is a flat rate from 10% – 20 % of food and beverage costs.

What happens to leftover food ?

We are happy to leave the desserts and cheese left on the sweet table. We rarely have leftover food because we prepare enough food for the number of guests you confirmed with us. If we have leftover food, we make sure that your DJ and photographer eats for free.

What is the pricing policy for kids under 12?

For children 6- 12 we charge half price. For children under 6, they eat free.

Do you have a cake cutting fee ?

We do not charge extra to this service. Our staff is onsite to help with whatever your needs may be. Please let us know beforehand that this service is needed.
